Rooted in love, woven as one, what a priceless gift, God has done.
Cherished by one another wrapped in love,
the most precious thing sent from above.
We are sown by the same fabric, used with the same thread;
Togetherness is what's represented here, Listen! To what is said.
From the oldest to the youngest God has blessed.
Grandpa Hawkins and Little Mama have stood the test.
Ten babies, they would raise, to take on the mantle,
but God wouldn't give them no more then they could handle;
They produced Singers, Dancers, and Models too
God has gifted this family with so much to do.
The Hawkins Family comes far and wide to share with the family pride.
When you look at one you may see double but please remember,
that doesn't mean trouble. It's just more love in our midst,
an extra amount of special gifts.
Yes! we are rooted together, like the stars above.
